Moving from trial-and-error toward predictive bioprocessing – bespark*bio will present its smart workflow at the Labroots Bioprocessing Virtual Event 2026.

Today, early-stage bioprocess development for biologics, viral vectors, and advanced therapies is still largely driven by iterative experimentation – resulting in long timelines, high costs, and unnecessary risk.

In his session, CEO Matthias Müllner will introduce bespark*bio’s knowledge-driven, data-enabled workflow. 

We combine structured process knowledge, focused experimentation, and hybrid models / digital twins to guide decision-making and streamline bioprocessing.

Using a viral vector case study, the presentation demonstrates how bioprocess development can become more efficient, scalable, and predictable.

bespark*bio has officially received CIR accreditation (Crédit d’Impôt Recherche) from the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

For companies with a French tax presence, this opens up new possibilities. Eligible R&D activities subcontracted to bespark*bio can now be included in their own CIR claims, helping reduce compliance risk while maintaining scientific and operational flexibility.

CIR accreditation is not granted automatically. It requires the submission of a detailed scientific dossier, a review of technical capabilities, and clear evidence of genuine research activity. 

The accreditation confirms that bespark*bio’s work qualifies as eligible R&D under the French CIR framework and that our scientific expertise meets the required national research standards.

Beyond the fiscal aspect, the accreditation also recognizes the depth of our scientific work, the rigor of our methodology, and our commitment to advancing innovation at the intersection of biology and technology.

bespark*bio has been selected to pitch at Salt’N’Venture, a startup and investment conference bringing together founders, investors and industry leaders to spotlight scalable innovation.

bespark*bio will present in the Human Tech Track, which features technologies advancing healthcare and life sciences with real-world impact.
